Job Purpose
To support the efficient operation of the warehouse by accurately picking, packing, and preparing pet food products for dispatch, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and health & safety are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Pick pet food products accurately using pick lists or handheld systems
Pack products securely and correctly for dispatch
Label, wrap, and palletise finished goods
Ensure orders are completed to required quality and quantity standards
Carry out manual handling tasks in line with training and safety guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the warehouse and packing areas
Report any damaged stock, shortages, or discrepancies to a supervisor
Follow all site health & safety, food safety, and company procedures
Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets and deadlines
Support other warehouse duties as required, including loading/unloading deliveries

Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies
Follow food safety and hygiene standards relevant to a pet food manufacturing environment
Wear appropriate PPE at all times
Actively contribute to maintaining a safe working environment
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Good attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work as part of a team
Basic understanding of health & safety at work
Good timekeeping and reliability
Desirable:
Previous warehouse, picking, or packing experience
Experience working in a food or manufacturing environment
FLT licence (training may be provided)
